NETAACHEN continues to co-write the CHIO history – contract extended until 2021
In the same way that the CHIO Aachen is a fixed date in the diaries of all equestrian sport enthusiasts, NETAACHEN has been a fixed part of the World Equestrian Festival for many years
This successful partnership has now been extended once again. Michael Mronz, General Manager of the Aachener Reitturnier GmbH, and Andreas Schneider, CEO of NetAachen GmbH, have signed a further contract up until the year 2021. A new feature of this year’s agreement is the title ‘Partner of the Youth and Young Talents Promotion’. NetAachen has indeed also been sponsoring the Salut Festival for young riders for many years, but up until now there hasn’t been an official title for this commitment.
“The title ‘Partner of the Youth and Young Talent Promotion’ is exactly right for NetAachen,” said Andreas Schneider about the new agreement. “Supporting young talents is a key element of the sponsoring portfolio of NetAachen. Shows like the CHIO Aachen are only possible, if companies take over this responsibility so that the aspiring talents can be promoted. We are looking forward to the German Youth Championships (GYC) 2017 in Aachen and to the Aachen Youngsters Shows with the NetAachen jumping competitions and are proud to be on board as ‘Partner of the Youth and Young Talents Promotion’.”
Furthermore, in its capacity as the ‘official telecommunications service provider of the CHIO Aachen’, NetAachen provides the complete technical Internet and telecommunications support. This ranges from the fibre optic high-speed lines that transmit the TV signals of the media all over the world, to free Wi-Fi for all visitors at the showgrounds, through to pushing the progressing digitalisation of the show. The most visible indication of this partnership that has just been extended remains to be the striking NetAachen Stand on the west side of the Main Stadium and the NetAachen obstacle on the cross-country course that was redesigned this year.
NetAachen has already been supporting the CHIO Aachen as a partner since 1999. “NetAachen has long since also become a valuable partner in all areas of the digitalisation,” stated Michael Mronz, General Manager of the Aachener Reitturnier GmbH. “We rely on a combination between strong regional partners and international brands and are delighted to have NetAachen, one of the top companies from the region at our side,” added Mronz
