CHIO Aachen 2025: Submit entries for “The Silver Horse” now

Instagram projects or a website, video clip, multimedia story or online article: Digital equestrian sport stories are potential winners. If they are submitted to “The Silver Horse” online award.

“The Silver Horse” is the most traditional media prize in the equestrian sport sector. Originally conferred in the “classic” disciplines Print, Radio and TV, the prize is in the meantime conferred as an online award. All articles on the equestrian sport that are available online, can be submitted. These can be articles or comments from daily newspapers, blog entries, social media posts or video clips, but also even entire multimedia concepts.

Creator, Bloggers and onliners are allowed to take part, but also editorial offices, athletes, organisers, sponsors etc. Hence, the author, the responsible person, several authors or a group/editorial office can consequently win the award. The jury assesses the entries among others according to their creativity, quality, user involvement, target group affinity and relevance. The submitted entry must have either been published in German or English.

The three best entries receive a prize, the winner is distinguished with “The Silver Horse” and prize money to the value of 3,000 Euros. Second place is endowed with 2,000 Euros, third place with 1,000 Euros. Entries that have been published after May 24th, 2024 are eligible for submission.

All information, the terms of the award and the online application form are available here.
