Sustainability and diversity: Congress occupies itself with future themes in the field of sport and culture – CHIO Aachen CAMPUS is a co-organiser – live stream
Before the best show-jumpers in the world compete in the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup at the CHIO Aachen 2021 on Thursday evening, the theme that will be discussed during the day is the future role of the sport within society. Namely, a star-studded congress on the theme the sustainability and diversity of sporting and cultural events is being organised parallel to the World Equestrian Festival – the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS is one of the co-organisers.
The event with top-class participants will be embedded into the #neuland congress (14.-16.09.2021), in cooperation with business representatives, politicians, investors and scientists, solutions for an efficient and equally ecologically and economically sustainable future will be sought. Thie Rhein Ruhr City GmbH is the organiser of the congress, and on Thursday the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS is also on board. Attractive equestrian sport training and education offers have arisen at the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS – at the highest level and at the most famous equestrian sport grounds in the world.
In the scope of #neuland, the people’s expectations regarding solutions for sustainable sporting and cultural events will be discussed and dealt with. “We are looking forward to introducing a new event format in Germany, which will gather sporting and cultural event opinion leaders in the area of sustainability around a table for the first time in this form, said Michael Mronz, CEO of the Rhein Ruhr City GmbH and founder of the Rhein Ruhr City initiative, which drafted an ecologically and economically sustainable regional concept for a bid for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. “Important, increasingly more central future themes, both for the spectators, as well as for the organisers and sponsors, are on the agenda of the #neuland conference,” stated Stefan Knopp, Director of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS.
The event on Thursday will be streamed live on the website of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS: The link to the stream
