NetAachen provides fast Internet connections at the Soers, the Dutch rider Skye Morssinkhof completed the fastest round in the NetAachen Prize.

Skye Morssinkhof and her KWPN mare, G-Vingino-Blue, left her 19 fellow competitors behind her after jumping clear in 63.90 seconds in the NetAachen-Prize. Like yesterday, the Irish rider, Tom Wachman, took second place with his Selle Français gelding, HH Fireball, with a clear round in a time of 64.13 seconds. They were followed by the recently crowned European Champion of the Young Riders, Matthis Westendarp, who had saddled his Stakkato son, Stalido (65.09).

The winner was above all delighted at the harmony between herself and her mare, G-Vingino-Blue: “It felt like she was unbeatable today. She carried me over the jumps. I just had to show her the direction. She was in fantastic form today!”

And that wasn’t the only thing that pleased her. The 19-year-old show-jumper, Skye, was namely selected for the Excellence Team of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS and will have the opportunity to train with the former Show Jumping World Champion, Jos Lansink: “I am so happy that I have been selected and am delighted. I hope that I will learn a great deal from new people and gain lots of experience,” she said.

Like competitions especially for young riders, also in the dressage for example in the scope of the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation, the Programme of Excellence is one of the CHIO Aachen’s concerted efforts to promote aspiring talents, in the jumping discipline here in the form of this NetAachen-Prize.
