This is how Gold Julia and her Mandy train
New episode of the digital CHIO Aachen Magazine
These two have ridden their way into our hearts and into the history books in 2021: Julia Krajewski and her Mandy. In Tokyo, the 33-year-old became the first woman ever to win gold at the Olympic Games in eventing! Of course, she has her mare Amande de B’Neville to thank for this. We were allowed to visit the dream team in Warendorf and accompany them a bit in their daily routine. What does the training of the two look like? What does Julia have to pay attention to and what does Mandy particularly like to do? The special relationship between the two always shines through. But Julia doesn’t just saddle up, she also gives us an exclusive demonstration – as a trainer, because that’s her second mainstay. She also reveals a few useful tips and tricks that every rider can use.
